Siah's Old-Safe Service also known as SOS is a Singapore based company that is founded by Mr David Siah (佘克安), an experienced safe specialist with more than 45 years of experience, aims to restore new lives into old antique safe from the past to their original restored / refurbished condition. He ensures that these antique safe which passes through his hands will provide the collectors/customers with a piece of history that is functional, attractive and useable like a secure safe. The skill and art of restoration/refurbishing work was pass down from his Father and Grandfather.
Each pieces of antique safe is unique, authentic, classy and also exclusive in history and features, they can be custom-furbished to satisfy each collectors’ personal requests. Everything imaginable will be reviewed carefully to ensure the piece of history is preserved well. Also, do note that we do not do any reproduction to any of our safes.
Many of our antique safe collections are being exported in the early 19th century (1900-1910) from countries like Germany, France, Austria, and Britain etc. During the olden days, these antiques safe are only for export to countries in the South East Asia.
Siah's Old-Safe Service has a wide range collections of Antiques Safe. These includes safes from Germany, Britain, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Austria and Japan.

Safe Fire Resistant ? Antique Safe Fire Resistance?
Question from customer : Is our antique safes fire-resistant?
Answer is Yes!
our antique safes collections are fire resistance and are able to withstand high heat/temperature. A mixture of cement/sawdust/fire resist powder. Just a few years back, we repossessed one of our client antique safes which he places at the second floor of his workshop along sin ming drive, the place caught fire and it was burning for close to 3-4 hours. We went in a week later to remove his safe and also open up for him, the items inside are intact and no signs of being burn etc. only the exterior was in a charcoal black state due to the high temperature. I think that will give you a rough idea on how strong these antique safes are.
The outer layer of the antique safes are being refurbished and hand painted by our own antique safe specialist to make it looks as if the safe is made of WOOD but in actual fact they are Metal and weights very heavy.
